Food Distribution during COVID 19 situation
With the onset of nation-wide lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was an emerging tide of hunger, loss of jobs and livelihood. To address these issues, GLT started groceries distribution initiative to help the needy. Our volunteers went through many difficulties while collecting the ration for the helpless people. We still managed to distribute essentials like rice, dal, atta, oil, sugar, etc among 40 families of near by villages.
Our group of volunteers procured all essentials. These items were distributed among 100 families of workers and villagers belonging to Mandibyadarhalli , Chennaveernahalli and Galibilikote villages.
The initiative was successful and continued in 3 more phases.
