At Good Living Trust (GLT), we believe in planting seeds of change—both in the soil and in young minds. This week, in a heartwarming collaboration with the Mitra Foundation, we witnessed a powerful blend of youthful energy and environmental action during an afforestation drive at Chennaveranahalli.
A group of 15 enthusiastic students came together, not just to plant trees—but to shape a greener future. With joy in their hearts and mud on their hands, these young eco-champions participated in every step of the process: from digging pits to manuring and finally planting the saplings with care and pride.
What made the event truly special was the energy and curiosity the children brought. They asked questions, shared stories, and promised to come back often to watch “their” trees grow. Their involvement reminded us that environmental stewardship begins early, and today’s children are indeed tomorrow’s guardians of nature.
GLT proudly supported this initiative by donating plants and providing technical guidance to the Mitra Foundation throughout the process. Our shared vision is simple but strong—create a community where nature thrives, and every individual, young or old, takes part in nurturing it.
Together, we planted more than just trees. We planted hope, responsibility, and a deep connection with the Earth.
As we stood there under the open sky, watching tiny hands pat down the soil around each sapling, it became clear— change doesn’t need to wait. It’s already growing.
Let’s continue this journey—one tree, one child, one village at a time.
